2010: A Carolina Odyssey

Motorcycles?  Check.  BMX bikes?  Check.  Buds in the chase car carrying BMX bikes and beer?  Check.  Let's go on a Carolina skatepark motorcycle tour.

But let's back up a bit to the day before when Neal played his first game of horseshoes ever and broke the horseshoe on his second toss ever.

Somehow we all survived the weekend despite Neal's best efforts to royally curse us.

This was also the debut of the newest and possibly best addition to the POS house, the POS garage fridge.

My boss hooked us up with the fridge for free a week or two before, plus gave us a bunch of beers and showed us his awesome garage which houses these badboys.

The gold Camaro is stunningly beautiful and sounds even better.  High life.

So we all dragged ass out of bed and over to POS Sunday after draining that fridge and then some.  I don't think we even left until 1?  Maybe 2?  Hung out for a minute, shook off the hangovers, dropped some beer shits, got on the road.  Rolled in to Currituck 2 skatepark an hour and some change later with a 12 strapped to the back of the bike and passed 2 state troopers at the entrance.  Shaky start.

Warm-up.

Steve D don't need no damn chase car.

Derek would like you to believe he pulled this.

Tarparazzi!

Neal and Baita killed it, we had a flyout show where I think only Derek and Neal pulled an actual trick whereas the rest of us launched out and either tried something and fell or just boosted and hurt our wrists.  That landing flat shit's for the birds.

Drove over the bridge to Kitty Hawk and went to Aviation park where I took hardly any photos because the light sucked and I was more interested in my beer.  Derek pulled some cool stuff, Neal blew some kids' minds by jumping and spinning over a fence, and the rest of us sat in the parking lot drinking some beers and relaxing.  Wrapped it all up with an awesome night ride home with a stop off at Wawa for some $0.93 PBR pints.  Big ups to Howard for the sweatshirt, it got cold quick.  I skipped work the next day.  I can't remember my excuse.

Steve attack.

Dailey and Tarpey, both brothers of Danny.
